Lauren is finally over the recovery hump and has returned to normal activity levels and has given up the whining (well for the most part) following her T&A. The recovery process was a long one! Up until day 10 it was a little rough but finally over this past weekend her peronsality came back. I was so thankful! We celebrated by heading to Grant's Farm for the day on Sunday. The weather was perfect and we had an awesome time. I'll post more about that later. I can already tell a difference in her energy level versus pre surgery where we had to have a nap every day. This week she's been going to VBS and playing all afternoon and not having a melt down at all. I hope this means the end of her sleep apnea and that her night sleep finally becomes good sleep. The doc tells me it will still take a while for her snoring to end, but that's okay. She's getting her voice back and as of tomorrow gets to eat a normal diet, no more soft food only!
