We visited Grant's Farm on Sunday. It was Bradley and Blake's first visit and Lauren was very anxious to show them the ropes. It was Lauren's first outing since her tonsillectomy. It was a good test for her to see if she would be up for VBS this week at her friend Kaylee's church.
Blake loved the choo-choo (tram) and the carousel. He wasn't real sure about feeding the goats, but after Lauren showed him how it was done, he loved it also. We were able to take in both a bird show and elephant show which was really neat. Bradley is now a fan of Grant's Farm too especially after we both enjoyed our two free beers! Thank you A-B for this great park. Where else can you go with your kids and be given free beer?
The clydesdales were our favorite part. We were able to pet a young foal which was really neat. She was a quite a friendly thing! It's amazing to see just how big those horses really are.
It will be a shame if the new owners of A-B decide to close Grant's Farm because it really is a great place. St. Louis has an awesome zoo but I have to say, Grant's Farm is definitely more my speed! I think my kiddos would agree.
